This policy is for people who use SmarterATS for work (recruiters, HR, admins) and for people who contact us (demos, support, sales).

Not for job applicants. If you applied for a job on a company's career page, read that company's privacy notice. They decide how your CV is used. We only process it for them.

• About you: name, work email, phone, job title, login details
• About your company: company name, plan, billing, BooCoin usage
• Technical: IP address, browser, how you use the app (to keep it secure and improve it)
• Messages: support chats, emails, demo requests

We use your data to…

• Give you access to SmarterATS
• Bill you and manage BooCoins
• Keep the platform safe and fix problems
• Answer support questions

Your employer's candidates: When you work with applicants in the app, your employer is in charge of that data. We process it only to provide the service they asked for (store CVs, run AI screening, send emails, etc.).

AI: We use AI to help with CV parsing, screening, and summaries. We do not use your company's or applicants' data to train public AI models for unrelated products.

We share data only with service partners we need to run the product, for the following purposes:

• Login
• Hosting and files
• AI
• CV text extraction
• Email/calendar
• Analytics
• Payments

We do not sell your personal data.

We retain your account data for the duration of our active contract.Upon contract termination, we keep this data for up to 1 year for administrative and compliance purposes.

You can ask us to delete earlier when the law allows.

You can:

• See your data
• Fix wrong data
• Delete data in some cases
• Complain to your local privacy authority

Applicants: contact the employing company first. We help them when they ask.
